F2045 changed hands in 2009 and then again in 2014, on both occasions being acquired to accompany F2043 as a source of spares.

A number of components were removed from the car and used to improve F2043, which means that the tub now stands as a complete but effectively unworked bare chassis.

The car could be seen, once again, as a source of spares, but it may be hoped that the new owner may be adventurous enough to consider giving F2045 a new lease of life, and completing the build.

The car was offered as part of the sales package for F2043, and this proved to be a temptation that the new owner couldn't resist. F2045 has since headed to sunnier climes, and taken up residence with F2043 in the south of France.
